SHAMOKIN — Public Meeting Planned On Shamokin Revitalization Efforts.
The public is invited to help shape the future of Shamokin during a public open house next week. Officials say the meeting will gather community input to guide revitalization and redevelopment efforts.
SEDA-COG says the effort supports the GoShamokin initiative and long-term economic development in the city. Organizers say feedback will help shape priorities for downtown improvements and other projects.
The open house will be held from 6pm to 7:30pm. Officials say the meeting will take place at the Casey Club Knights of Columbus on East Independence Street. Residents, business owners, and community stakeholders are encouraged to attend. Organizers ask attendees to RSVP by emailing SEDA-COG.
