LEWISBURG — A train ride honoring veterans will roll out next month. The North Shore Railroad Company and its affiliates will host the 2nd Annual Veterans Benefit Voyage on .
Passenger excursion trains will depart Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg at 10am and 1pm, traveling north to New Columbia. The rides will be pulled by two special military units — LVRR 9052, known as the Veterans Unit, and LVRR 9050, the Memorial Unit.
Organizers say 100% of ticket sales will benefit Central PA Wreaths Across America and Heroes & Horses, two organizations supporting veterans and military families. The railroad will also sell merchandise featuring the military units. Tickets, hoodies, t-shirts, and hat preorders are available at northshorewarehouse.com/usa.
