DANVILLE — Montour County residents will soon have an opportunity to shape the county’s future. Organizers say two public meetings are planned Tuesday, September 30, as part of the Montour County 2035 Comprehensive Plan update.
The first meeting, focusing on town and village areas, will be held from 3pm to 5pm at the Montour County Administration Center Gymnasium on East Front Street in Danville.
The second, centering on farm and forest areas, runs from 6pm to 8pm at Delong Memorial Hall on Third Street in Washingtonville. County officials say the goal is to gather community ideas and priorities to guide development, land use, and quality of life decisions through the year 2035.
