NEW BERLIN — A Watsontown man died after a weekend crash on the New Berlin Highway in Jackson Township, Snyder County. State police say 34-year-old Branndon Kerstetter was traveling north around 11pm when he failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the opposite lane.
Troopers say he went off the road, down an embankment, hit a tree before going into a creek. Authorities say Kerstetter was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. They say he was wearing a helmet when the crash happened.
