LEWISBURG — Bucknell University officials say the football team is working to raise $25,000 this fall in support of VS Cancer. The program began in 2018, when Bucknell became the first college football team in the nation to participate.
Officials say the Bison have raised more than $113,000 since then, helping provide care and resources for children battling cancer. Donations will be accepted over the next three weeks. The team is scheduled to present a check before its Oct. 4 homecoming game against Richmond. You can contribute at curethekids.org.
