The stations of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, along with Sunbury Community Hospital , are teaming up in the month of August to help STOP DIABETES through a series of on air features, local events, fundraising, and a chance to feature someone who has truly made an impact in the fight against the disease. Team up and take a walk to help bring awareness to this disease on August 28!
The “Tour de Cure” will begin in the Emergency Room Parking Lot, corner of 11th and Line St. , Sunbury. Parking is free and is in the Annex 1 Building, behind the Annex building. Registration begins at 8:30 am, Walk starts at 9:00 am. Registration forms will be at the walk at the Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation booth. All money raised will go to the American Diabetes Association.
The suggested donation per person is $5.00. Teams are welcome as are sponsors.
