The “baby” of the Sunbury Broadcasting Sports Team, Ryan began working games for SBC during his college years and has been there ever since. He started as an occasional fill-in for “The Chief” or Kevin Herr on Shikellamy Basketball broadcasts on WKOK, and joined Kevin and Dick Hort during the football season in 2004 and 2005. In 2006 Ryan took on the role of Play-by-Play for Milton Black Panther Football on TalkRadio 1380 WMLP.  He also serves as an analyst and play-by-announcer for the Bison Sports Network and Bucknell Women’s Basketball.  After seeing his basketball and football careers come to a screeching halt after an unfortunate incident with a basketball bumper and failed dunk Ryan jumped behind the bench and began broadcasting. While at Elizabethtown College, he was the voice of Elizabethtown High School Football for both ECTV and WWEC-FM and served as lead color analyst and play-by-play for Elizabethtown College Men’s and Women’s Basketball. Ryan was recognized by the Society of Collegiate Journalists with a First Place Award in 2001 for his work with E-town Men’s Basketball Play-by-Play. He was also part of the WKOK broadcast team which won the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award for Play-by-Play Sports in 2005. When he isn’t spending his weekends with Dave Ritchie, Dick Hort or Kevin Herr in football stadiums and basketball gyms he works as a Senior Program Analyst with SEDA-COG.  He is active in several area organizations including the United Way, Susquehanna Valley Young Professionals, Degenstein Library, and the Sunbury Rotary Club.
